12. Corrupted File

12.1 Missing or Incorrect Preview File

• Reason:
The template ZIP does not include a valid preview file or the preview is incorrectly named or placed.
• Technical cause:
The system cannot find or validate the preview file required to process the template.
• Common examples:
• Missing preview file
• Preview not named preview.mp4 or preview.mov
• Preview placed inside a subfolder instead of the root of the ZIP
• How to fix it: Include a preview video named preview.mp4 or preview.mov; Place the preview directly in the root of the ZIP, next to the .aep or .prproj file; Do not place the preview inside subfolders

12.2 Corrupted or Unreadable ZIP File

• Reason:
The ZIP file is corrupted or cannot be opened or extracted correctly.
• Technical cause:
The ZIP file was incorrectly created, interrupted during compression or upload, or contains invalid internal data.
• Common examples: ZIP file cannot be opened or extracted; ZIP extraction fails even though the upload was successful; ZIP file size is unusually small or incomplete

• Reason:
The ZIP file structure does not meet the required folder and file organization.
• Technical cause:
Required project files are not located in the root directory or unnecessary nested folders prevent correct processing.
• Common examples: .aep or .prproj file not placed in the root of the ZIP; Files stored inside duplicated or deeply nested folders
• How to fix it: Use .zip only; Do not password-protect the ZIP; Use only allowed characters in the ZIP name: a–z, A–Z, 0–9, spaces, _ and -

• Common examples: ZIP opens locally but fails during system decompression; Missing linked assets inside the package; ZIP created on Windows with incompatible internal paths
• How to fix it: Recompress all files again using a standard compression tool; Make sure all linked assets are included; If working on Windows: Select all files and folders; Right-click → Compress to ZIP file; Avoid third-party or advanced compression tools with custom settings; If the issue persists, try compressing the files on a different system
