Metadata Guidelines - Must read
Dedicating some valuable time to use keyworkds your resources is essential. By using adequate keywords, users will find your content easily and you will get more downloads. At the same time, it will speed up the revision process and your content is likely to be published faster.
For this reason, we have prepared these rejection reasons guidelines so you can optimize the metadata of your resources.

Reasons for rejection - Title
Titles must be coherent and relevant. Your keywords must answer to the questions who, what, when and where in order to describe the resource clearly and concisely in one sentence.
When choosing a title for your content, make sure it refers to the resource’s concept and theme. Also, avoid providing too long descriptions in the title.
Title too long/short
Your resources may be rejected if the title is too long or too short:
- Long titles: the title contains unnecessary information or repetitive keywords, or perhaps you included more than one title separated by periods.
- Short titles: the title does not describe the resource in detail.
Our recommendation: set the title's length to 35-100 characters.

Wrong title
The keywords included in the title do not describe the resource properly or they do not relate to the resource, they might be irrelevant and lead to wrong results when searching.
Our recommendation: Try to avoid long descriptions or including details in your title, it has to describe the image or concept you see briefly and clearly.

Title contains file type
Titles must not refer to the file type (i.e. EPS10, PSD, JPG)
Example: the title refers to the file type

Spelling / grammar errors
The title contains spelling or grammar errors.
Example: spelling errors

Title must be written in English
Titles must be written in English. If your resources have a title in any other language, they will be rejected.
Title contains numbers or dates
Do not include numbers or dates in the title of the resource (except for festivities, i.e. 4th July).

Wrong format
Make sure the title does not include any special or strange characters.

Keywords are essential for proper localization of the resources on our platform. Therefore, it is important that you take your time to usekeywords properly and make sure they are precise and relevant and accurately describe the theme.
Keywords do not relate to the resource
Keywords do not relate to the resource’s content, they do not describe it properly, are not related to the resource’s theme or format or might show wrong results when searching for the resource.
Our recommendation: Try to use your keywordsto depict only what you can see on your resource or its concept.

Spamming
The repetition of words in your keywords is considered spam. There are three different cases that we identify as spammy keywords:
- Use of repeated words: Do not repeat the same keywords over and over.
- Spam in campaigns: Your content will be rejected if you use keywords related to a campaign in order to participate in it, but the words are not related to the resource.
- Colors: Using all the colors in the resource as keywordis also considered spamming. Instead, use only the main color of the resource or the keyword “colorful” if colors are an important element in the composition.

Wrong format
Keywords are rejected due to wrong format when:
- they include special characters (? ; * # { } = ’ ...); keywords are not separated correctly. You must separate each keywordwith a comma.; a keyword is formed by two words without separation (abstractbackground); you add determiners, prepositions or pronouns.

Keywords must be written in English
Make sure the keywordsare in English. If they are in a different language they will be rejected, except for proper nouns such as the names of festivities, typical food or places, but always using the English spelling.
Wrong number of keywords
Your resources must have a minimum of 5 keywordsand a maximum of 50. However, it is important that you include only the relevant keywords, there is no need to reach the maximum of 50 keywords(20 keywordsare enough as long as they are relevant). More keywordsare not equal to more downloads.

Spelling / grammar errors
If your keywords present spelling or grammar errors, they will be rejected.
