Abusive practices
Freepik prohibits the following practices, and engaging in any of them may lead to the suspension of your account.
If the account of users is seen to be involved in any suspicious activity, the company will suspend or cancel the account, retaining any possible accumulated income, and they will not be able to be reclaimed. The company will also carry out further legal action that they consider necessary to reclaim the income that may have been obtained during the time that these services have been offered.
Multiple accounts
As stated in our Terms and Conditions, contributors are not allowed to have more than one active account without prior written consent from Freepik.
Creating multiple accounts to bypass upload limits is strictly prohibited and may lead to account suspension or termination.
Artificial downloads
Contributors are not allowed to ask other people to download their content with economic interests and not out of a genuine interest expressed by the other party.
Any method of generating downloads through artificial measures or using methods that imply compensation to other users for downloading content is absolutely forbidden in our Terms of Use.
Copyright/trademark issues
Contributors must hold the rights to the content they upload and make sure that they are not infringing on anyone else’s copyright or trademark. This includes using licensed or stock images without proper permission.
In order to ensure that all content on our platform is original and legally owned by the contributors, we have a thorough review process before publishing any uploaded material. Our team checks for any potential copyright/trademark infringements and will reject any content that does not meet our standards.
In case of any reported copyright or trademark issues, we will immediately remove the offending content and possibly terminate the contributor's account.
Sensitive content
Sensitive content is also strictly prohibited on our platform. This includes but is not limited to politically offensive assets, assets promoting explicit drug consumption or explicit violence, or assets containing animals in circuses. Assets that are sexually explicit, contain nudity or depict people in an objectifying manner, such as content that reduces people to mere sexual objects or focuses disproportionally on body parts, are also strictly prohibited.
Plagiarism
All graphic assets plagiarized from other authors will be rejected. The submission of assets must be either entirely original and self-created or properly licensed. If it is found that the submitted content does not adhere to this condition, the contributor's account will be permanently blocked.
