Guidelines on how to use keywords on photos

There are two ways to use keywords on your photos:
- Uploading a .csv file with the information of all your files
- Using keywords for your photos directly from your contributor dashboard (Files waiting to add keywords)
To upload the CSV with keywords and titles, please read the guide for creating a well-formed .csv file.
How to use keywords on your photos:
Conceptual and descriptive keywords:
When describing photos, it's crucial to capture both the image's content and the concept it represents. Mix conceptual and descriptive keywords to provide a comprehensive description.
For instance, if the photo features a group of girls in summer clothing, include conceptual keywords that evoke the idea of summer, such as friendship, youth, vacation, and fashion. Additionally, use descriptive keywords like girls, cell phone, dress, and urban area to specify the elements within the image. Consider prioritizing keywords related to the most prominent feature, such as the cellphone in this case, as it catches the girls' attention.

2.Describing the elements of the image from most to least relevant
When adding keywords to your photos, it's essential to prioritize and describe the elements based on their relevance within the image. Start with the most significant and eye-catching aspects and gradually move towards the less prominent details.
3.Avoid obvious words:
When choosing keywords for your photos, avoid using too obvious or redundant terms. Exclude words like 'photo,' 'image,' or 'photography' unless they are essential to the description. Instead, focus on keywords contributing to the image's description and meaning. Additionally, use 'blurred background' instead of 'background' to prevent unnecessary keyword generation.
4. Relevant and descriptive keywords:
Ensure that all the keywords you choose make sense and accurately describe the image both conceptually and visually. Avoid using keywords solely based on color since users can utilize color filters on Freepik.com for their searches. However, if the colors in the image are prominent or noteworthy. You can use terms like 'colorful' or 'colors' as descriptive keywords.
5. Add prompt for artificial intelligence generated images:
After marking a resource as 'Created with artificial intelligence,' a new section titled 'Prompt Details' will appear. In this section, you need to add a prompt and select the model base, which is the tool used to create the image.
