If I upload my content to Flaticon, could it be published on another site within the group?

Yes, if the company determines that your content is suitable for Freepik or another similar project operated by Flaticon for any of its Affiliates, it may be published there, and you will be compensated accordingly.

Regarding the inclusion of Affiliates as licensees of the Licensed Works, why was it necessary to grant them the rights to move the content across the group's websites?

The purpose is to allow for the seamless movement of content across the group's websites if necessary, ensuring a cohesive and unified user experience for our audience.

What are the benefits of distribution through APIs?

Distribution through APIs allows us to share and distribute your content to users who access Freepik through third-party applications or platforms and users who wouldn't naturally access Freepik end up on this platform and downloading your assets thanks to it. It enables a seamless integration of your content into various services, expanding its reach and visibility beyond our websites.

Regardless of the income source, what is the revenue share?

The revenue share will always be 50% of the net revenue, regardless of the source of income.

Are there any deductions or fees that will be subtracted from the revenue share?

No, the revenue share of 50% is calculated based on the net revenue generated from the distribution of your content. There are no additional deductions or fees applied to your earnings.

If Freepik establishes a partnership with a distribution platform, how will my content be distributed?

The content would be distributed under the name of Freepik, we ensure that you are duly recognized as the author by including your name in the metadata of every asset. Of course, you will always be appropriately compensated for your contributions

Will I have to relinquish the rights to my content?

By distributing your content through Freepik, you are granting a non-exclusive license for its distribution and sublicensing. This means that you retain the rights to your content and are free to distribute it through other channels.

When will I receive payment for earnings from distribution channels?

Payments are made every three months at least. We will inform you in case we close an agreement with a distribution partner and provide details. Your earnings from distribution channels will be reflected on your invoice.

Will I be notified if my content is published on another site within the group?

Yes, if your content is published on another site within the group, you will be notified of the distribution and informed about the specific site where it is being made available on your invoice.

Will the Contributor have access to information about different types of remuneration in their dashboard?

The Contributor will find all the information about the various types of remuneration they will receive in their invoice, including downloads, API earnings, distribution partner revenue earning, and any special agreements. During the first stage, this information will be only in the invoices, but in the future we plan to show all the information in the Contributor dashboard.

In relation to the introduction of Distribution Partners (DPs) and their sublicensing rights, how will the Company ensure that any non-compliance issues from DPs or their end-users do not hold the contributor responsible?

We will make every effort to monitor the activity of these Distribution Partners and will take appropriate action if any non-compliance is detected on their part

Can I continue to be a contributor but not accept these content distribution terms?

To maintain your contributor account with Freepik, it is essential to comply with the conditions and requirements explained in these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you can contact us our customer service team to close your contributor account, by selecting the option 'I want to delete my account and data.'
